I wish I could say the subject wasn’t true, and I’m sorry I have to give a late update with bad news. We’ve only been open again for a little bit, and I’m really sorry to have given you all false hope that we’d continue for a long time.
I’m sure it’s been obvious that we’ve struggled at times, trying to make things easier or more interesting for us. We didn’t plan well at the beginning, and there are a lot of things I wish I had done differently now.
Between Viscaria’s computer crash (we lost quite a big chunk of things with it) and knowing that our interests are mostly elsewhere, I spent quite a few days really debating this.
I love this game so much. It was the first trading card game I ever tried to run, and it will always have a special place in my heart. All of you have been amazing members. Way more amazing than I ever expected!
We’re not going to disappear though. If any of you a Jrock fans, I’d like to direct you to Holiday Shinjuku TCG. It’s an upcoming game where we’ve been able to set things up in a way that’s a bit more comfortable for us, and it’s focused on things we still truly enjoy.
Again, thank you so much everyone for everything and all of your support since we first opened in 2007. Thank you so so much for sticking with us until the end.
